LMP was the project manager for Vertex’s Annex facility, which houses the first continuous drug development rig in the world, as well as supporting warehouse, lab, and office space. Built in a never before tenanted portion of a multi-tenant 2 story commercial building in the Seaport District, the Annex team utilized BIM to coordinate existing conditions, new systems, and the development rig which was purchased from a manufacturer in Belgium.

The Drug Development Launch Rig housed in the annex is the first in the world of its kind and was built, assembled, and tested in Belgium before being disassembled and shipped to the US for reassembly by a joint OEM/CM team.
