Last week, Stellata was named the 2025 IIDA NE Design Awards: Best in Show!

Stellata marks the beginning of the transformation of Charlestown’s Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment. The completion of the first building delivered 102 units of affordable housing with Passive House certification and a hybrid mass timber system that significantly cut carbon emissions. Designed by Stantec, the building incorporates thoughtful design elements, from reclaimed site materials to custom wall coverings inspired by local history, to make Stellata a model for sustainable, inclusive urban living.
