First Street Market and Amba Café to Open in July

The First Street Market and Amba café are scheduled to open in July! Located at 55 First Street in the base of the recently re-opened First Street Garage, the 4,000 SF space will host a year-round weekly indoor farmers market and also includes a demonstration bar and a community event space. Amba, a new Mediterranean concept from chef Will Gilson (Puritan & Co., Puritan Oyster Bar, The Lexington, Café Beatrice, and Gepetto), will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to anchor the space.
This project to revitalize the base of the First Street Garage is part of the larger 40 Thorndike redevelopment, converting the former Sullivan courthouse into a mixed-use office, residential, and retail development. Read more about 40 Thorndike here.
