Eric Bacon

Mr. Bacon joined the company in 1996 after 14 years with Whittier Partners where he served as Executive Vice President of the largest full-service real estate company in New England. He currently acts as co-manager of the firm’s development business, and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Bacon received a Bachelors degree from Boston University.

Donald Birch

Mr. Birch joined the company in 1987. He has held several positions at the company including manager of real estate services operations. He currently serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Project Executive for some of the firm’s largest and most high profile projects. Prior to that he led the Facilities Services Group in Massachusetts, which operated a portfolio with more than two million square feet in office properties. He earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Mr. DeBonis joined the company in 1995 after three years with G. Greene Construction as Chief Estimator. Previously, he has held estimator, purchaser, and project manager positions in the construction industry. He has a Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Jack deMelo

Mr. deMelo joined the company in 2006, after working at Harvard University as a Project Manager for 15 years. In this position, he successfully managed a variety of project types ranging from historical, educational, residential, and dining. He is currently working on projects for Brandeis University and Harvard University. Mr. deMelo received a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He also serves as a member of Wentworth’s Construction Management Industry & Professional Advisory Committee.

Mr. Donovan joined the company in 2001 after having worked for Gilbane Building Company as Project Engineer for four years. He has a variety of experience in construction and project management. His role includes Project and Development Management. Mr. Donovan has received a BS in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and an MS in Real Estate Development from MIT.

Chuck Favazzo

Mr. Favazzo joined the company in 2006, after six years with Walsh Brothers, Inc., where he served as project manager on the Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is currently working on a new 500,000 sf inpatient facility at MGH, slated to open in 2011. Chuck has experience as both a project manager and as a superintendent on projects including the Amgen Center research facility in Cambridge, Providence Place Mall, Seaport Hotel and Conference Center, and the Fleet Center Arena / North Station, including the demolition of the Old Boston Garden. He received a BS in Building Construction Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology and maintains an unrestricted Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License.

Mr. Forbis joined the company in 2006 after a year with Boylston Properties and four years with Lockheed Martin Corporation. He is a former member and chapter president of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr. Forbis received a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, an Aero/Astro Engineering Certificate from Stanford University, a Masters degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Boston University.

Mr. Foster joined the company in 1986 after three years with Essex Builders Company. He has held several positions at LMP including Construction Manager, Area Manager and Vice President of Operations. He currently acts as Project Executive for some of the firm’s largest and most high profile projects. Mr. Foster received a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.

Mr. Gause joined the company in 1993 after five years with Leslie E. Robertson Associates. He has served in various roles within LMP, including acquisitions, development and Director of Asset Management. He currently acts as Director of Acquisitions and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Gause received a Bachelors degree in Engineering and Masters degree in Engineering, both from Cornell University and a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. Greetham joined Leggat McCall Properties in 2004 as Senior Project Manager after a successful 13 year career with ADP Marshall. As a Marshall Project Manager, Rob has run over 1.8mm sq. ft. of Office, 250k sq. ft of Hospital / Retirement and 170k sq. ft. of Biotech / Microelectronic construction. Rob’s strong construction management background, intimate understanding of the local construction marketplace, combined with his proven ability to manage and deliver large projects, makes for a strong fit with Leggat’s future plans.

Ms. Kelley joined the company in 2001 where she has full responsibility for accounting, banking and insurance. Prior to joining the company, she was a Controller at Siena Construction for 10 years and an accountant at AEW for six years. Ms. Kelley received her MBA from Boston College and her BSBA in accounting from Northeastern University.

Mahmood Malihi

Mr. Malihi joined the company in 1983 where he has been instrumental in the completion of numerous development projects with an aggregate market value in excess of $1 billion. He currently acts as co-manager of the firm’s development business, and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Malihi received a civil engineering degree from Tufts University and received an MS degree in construction management from Stanford University.

William Matthews

After accumulating over 20 years of real estate development experience as principal and project manager on various multi-family, retail and commercial real estate projects, Mr. Matthews rejoins Leggat McCall Properties as Senior Project Manager. His first career position after graduate school in 1981 was as a financial analyst for a fledging real estate developer firm, Leggat McCall & Werner. Mr. Matthews formerly was Executive Vice President at Landmark Development Group, LLC, based in Connecticut, where he served in an acquisitions role identifying multi-family and retail opportunities throughout New England. He also acted as principal and project manager at a number of regional development firms on projects with a combined value of nearly $100 million dollars. Mr. Matthews has BAs in Economics and Fine Arts from Trinity College, CT, and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Robert Palumbo

Mr. Palumbo joined the company in 2006 following 11 years with Beacon Capital Partners where he was the Vice President – Development and oversaw the master planning, permitting, design, construction and marketing of Technology Square, a 1.6 million square foot research, office and laboratory campus located in Cambridge, MA, and Channel Center, a $400 million mixed-use project located in Boston’s Waterfront District. Mr. Palumbo has more than 30 years experience including working as Vice President – Team Executive within BankBoston real estate division (now Bank of America). Mr. Palumbo holds a Master of BA from Boston University and a BS in Engineering from Northeastern University.

He currently acts as a Project Executive for large high rise interior projects as well as institutional life sciences projects. Mr. Sadowski received a Bachelors degree in civil engineering from Cornell University and an MS degree in structural engineering from Northeastern University and is a Massachusetts Registered Professional Engineer.

He received a Bachelors degree in civil engineering and an MS in construction engineering from Stanford University.

Christine Stone

Ms. Stone is responsible for identifying, underwriting and performing due diligence on potential acquisitions for the company. As asset manager, Ms. Stone assists in overseeing the leasing, property management, financial reporting and disposition for assets held under ownership. Ms. Stone joined the company in 1995 after 5 years in public accounting where she performed audits for a broad range of companies involved in the construction and real estate industries. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from College of the Holy Cross and a Masters of Science in Finance from Boston College.

Kim Thurber

Mr. Thurber joined the company in 1996 after 29 years with Shawmut National Corporation where he served as a Senior Officer for the retail distribution planning and corporate facilities function. In this capacity, he was responsible for all real estate acquisitions/dispositions and oversaw five million square feet of office space and a portfolio of over 500 retail properties. He currently acts as a Project Executive on a variety of corporate and institutional clients including the recently completed renovation of Trinity Church in Boston.

Mr. Walsh joined Leggat McCall in 2004 with twenty years experience in the Construction industry, including 15 years with Turner Construction and over four years with CorJen Construction, where Mr. Walsh held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Walsh has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and is presently serving on the Board of Directors for the Forsyth Institute.

Mr. Yankauskas received an Associates degree in architectural engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Bachelors degree and an MBA, both in Business Administration, from New Hampshire College.
