Newton-Wellesley Hospital is working on plans to open an Ambulatory Surgical Center at 500 Cochituate Road operating under the Hospital license.

The Center will house four operating rooms and four GI procedures rooms where our physicians will perform routine outpatient surgical procedures such as orthopaedics, hand surgery and endoscopy procedures.

Site remediation began in December 2009, and construction began in December 2010, for a 2013 completion.

The new Spaulding Rehab will meet and exceed all current ADA accessibility standards, becoming a model for Universal Design.
